Breeding Riding Ponies at Pearl Creek Stud aims to produce quality ponies that have the ability to succeed in their discipline. All of our Riding Ponies collect show record before they are used in breeding. They are shows mainly in ASPSA but also in ASDA, AHEJC and pen dressage and jumping shows which we arrange ourselves too. In order to avoid making our ponies' bloodlines seen too often in pedigrees our stallions will serve no more than 10 mares and our mares will have up to five foals.
With Knabstrups, Welsh ponies and Shetland ponies we do not have as big plans as with the Riding Ponies. These three extra breeds are occasionally shown and will have a small amount of offspring. Their main purpose is to create new bloodlines for the breeds and to combine lines from all over the world in order to produce interesting mixed pedigrees.
